Recalling :

• Deftinition Of Recount Text

Recount is a text which retlles events or experiences in the past. Its purpose is either to inform or to entertain the audience. There is no complication among the participants and that differentiates from narrative. A recount text has an orientation, a series of events in chronological order, personal remarks on the events, and a re-orientation that "Rounds Off" the sequence of events.

• Structure :

1.) Orientation    : Introducing the participants, place and time.

2.) Events     : Describing series of event that happened in the past

3.) Re-Orientation : It is optional, stating personal comment of the writer to the stroy.

Example : Recount Text The Stroy Batle Of Surabaya.

Synopsis :

there are families consisting of fathers and sons only. his father has a scientific profession to conduct experiments, but experiments from a father fail continuously. right on the day of his father's birthday, the boy intended to surprise his father who was sad because of his failure. he wanted to make a birthday party by making a cake, but because the child was careless he was hit by his father's failed attempt and his hands turned red as if he had the power of fire in his palm, he had trouble making cakes for his father, but the child did not give up even though the results were messy but made his father smiled.
